The LORd Shall Judge His People!

Our adversary, the devil brings railing charges against us before God our father every day.  He goes about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour.  Our record is in heaven. God is our righteous judge.  If we have received Christ as our LORD and savior, our sins have been forgiven and we are fully justified before God  our father.

" (Shiggaion of David, which he sang unto the LORD, concerning the words of Cush the Benjamite.) O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:  Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.  O LORD my God, if I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;  If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:) Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah.  Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded. So shall the congregation of the people compass thee about: for their sakes therefore return thou on high.  The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.  Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.  My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart.  God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day. If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.  He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors.  Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.  He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.  His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate." Psalm 7:1-16

The LORD is Our Shepherd!

As David declared in Psalm 23 that The LORD was his shepherd, and that all his needs were found in him, so we today who have reciuved him as our LORD and savior can confidently say that he is our great shepherd also, and supplies all that we have need of as a good shepherd cares for his own  sheep.

" (A Psalm of David.) The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. If we will keep our heart and mind stayed and fixed upon Jesus and his word, and rejoice in him all thru the day, The peace of God which passeth all understanding   shall keep our hearts and minds through him, and we can cast all our care upon him.

The Name of the Lord is a Strong Tower!

The mouth and tongue of foolish men and women can be weapons of mass destruction, according to the word of God, if not guarded with discretion, and kept under the control of the Holy Spirit. May the words of our mouth and the meditation of our hearts be acceptable unto God our Father,in the name of Jesus before we release them from our strong tower which is the name of Jesus.

Let us not be slothful in our service for the Lord, but let us be diligent in our service for him and not be talebearers of the business of others, which is no concern of ours except to keep them in our prayers.

"A fool's mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul. The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly. He also that is slothful in his work is brother to him that is a great waster. The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. The rich man's wealth is his strong city, and as an high wall in his own conceit. Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honour is humility. Ask, and it shall be given unto you; seek and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you.

 " Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye. Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you. Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Do all Things As Unto the Lord!

Whatsoever we are called to do in our daily activity here on earth, let us do it with joyfulness unto the Lord and not unto men, for from Christ we shall receive our reward.

"Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord. Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged. Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God: And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. Be Strong in the LORD!  Meditate in his Word!

We must meditate in the word of God diligently, day and night, believe and receive every promise that God has given to us, and boldly take possession of all that God has alredy provided for us through Christ.

"There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them. Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. Special Praise!

 Special Praise!

Thought for Today - December 22, 2023

 Well! Praise God! I have returned home from  the special  assingment  for which I believe God may have sent me to sow some seed in his vineyard, (hospital  and rehab).  While there, God gave me the privilege and opportunity to share the gospel and God's-plan of salvation with three separate  male roommates - Sam - Tony - Christopher,  and with one very elderly lady, Dorothy, who appeared to be much older than myself.  

They each listened intently and respectfully.  We need to pray that the seed sown in the hearts and minds of these individuals will have fallen on good ground  and will bring forth much good fruit.

"And he began again to teach by the sea side: and there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he entered into a ship, and sat in the sea; and the whole multitude was by the sea on the land. And he taught them many things by parables, and said unto them in his doctrine, Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow: And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up. And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth: But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away." Mark 4: 1-6

Praise Ye the LORD!

From the moment that we awake in the morning until the time we fall asleep at night, and then all through the night while we sleep, even in our dreams, our hearts  ought to be overflowing with praise to God for all  his love, grace, and mercy and all that he has done for us..  Let our lips proclaim  with a loud noise so that all may hear, our praise to God our father,creator, and saviour. God is worthy of all our praise, and when we offer him praise, we invoke his  presence with us for "God inhabits the praise of his people"

"Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs".   Psalm 150: 1

Dead to the Old - Alive to the New !

When we accept Christ as our savior, in God's eyes  we have died with  Christ, having been forgiven of sin and washed with his blood. , we are set free from the old sin nature, and no longer have to be bond servants , and live according to the dictates  and lifestyle of the world, the flesh, and the devil  In Christ we have died from that which we once were.  In Christ all things become new.

Christ died and God raised him  from the dead on the third day, according to the scriptures . So as God the Father sees us, if Christ be dead and risen again, then we who have died with Christ are now alive again   with Christ, and have become new creatures, and have access to the supernatural realm and the throne of God where , according to the scriptures Christ is at The right hand of the father, and so can we be with him.

^"If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory."  Colossians 3:1

Today !

 

 Thought for Today - November 23, 2023 

Today !

Today - This is the day that God has given to us, Let us rejoice and be glad in it for at this point in time and eternity we have no other,  Yesterday is past and gone from us, and tomorrow does not exist.  IF we are to be  saved and qualified to enter into  the next dimension of existence,  that which Jesus has promised us, Heaven, we must do it today..No matter how the earth turns, and daylight turns into darkness, and darkness turns back into daylight, in reality for us it is always today. We always live in "today" We were born "today" and we will die "today" and if we are to accomplish any thing in our lives we must do it "today.".  Serve God today: Worship God today: Pray today: forgive those  who have wronged   you today. Call upon  The LORD Jesus Chrit to forgive  your sin today and be sure of salvation and a home in heaven.  Don't put it off and count on tomorrow because for you, tomorrow may never be. Boast not of tomorrow..  Your hope of tomorrow may be too late  "while it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation." Hebrews 2: 15

"Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth. Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips. stone is heavy, and the sand weighty; but a fool's wrath is heavier than them both.
