God's Promise of Everlasting Life

"For I know that my redeemer liveth and that he shall stand at the later day upon the earth, and though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God. Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another, though my reins be consumed within me." Job 19: 25-27

"As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall  be satisfied when I awake with  thy likeness." Psalm17: 15

"Belovcd, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not  yet appear what we shall be: but we know that when he shall appear, we shall be like him: for we shall see him as he is." 1 John 1:2

God offers promises and encouragement to his people. Who are the people of God? All those who truly love him and obey him, and have accepted his offer of forgiveness and  salvation through Jesus Christ.

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.  Then shall ye call  upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you." Jer 29:11,12

"Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work." 2 Thes 2: 16,17

"But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation. A peculiar people, that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness unto his marvelous light: which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God, which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy." 1 Peter 2: 9,10

God's Promise of Joy

God has plainly revealed to us in  his word the paths of life we must follow if we are to experience all the fullness of joy that he has planned for us.

"Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy: at thy right hand there are pleasures forever more." Psalm 16:11

"Enter ye in at the strait gate:for wide is the gate, and broad the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there be that go in thereat. Math 7:13

"Strive to enter in at the strait gate;for many I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.  When once the  master of the house is risen up and shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without,and knock  on  the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us: and he shall answer and say unto you , I knew you not whence ye are." Luke 13: 23, 25

"O satisfy us early with thy mercy that we may rejoice and be glad all our days." Psalm 90:14

Let all the Earth Fear The Lord !

"Let all the earth fear the Lord: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him, for he spake and it was done; he commanded and it stood fast.  The Lord bringeth the counsel of the heathen  to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect." Psalm 33: 8-10

"Take counsel together and it shall come to nought, speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us. Isaiah 8:10

"The counsel of the Lord standeth forever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations." Psalm 33: 11

"But he is in one mind, and who can turn him?and what his soul desireth, even that he doeth." Job 23: 10

"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance." Psalm 33: 12
