The Power of God Unto Salvation!

We must never be afraid or ashamed to preach and share the gospel of Jesus  Christ wherever we go, and with whomsoever we meet and have coversation. The Gospel message - Christ  crucified, dead, buried, risen again, alive now and forevermore, -" the power of God unto salvation" for all who will believe and receive him into their heart. 

Paul's advice to Timothy, and to all of us also:

 "Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;" Timothy 1:8

Jesus  warns us:

"Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels." Mark 8:38

Therefore, let us proclaim to the world and all the evil forces that  surround us that we are not ashamed of  the gospel of Christ.

 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”Romans 1: 16

^"I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles. I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise. So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them." Romans 1: 13-19

What did Jesus say about those who call him Lord?

How sad and horrifying it would be to come to the end of our days and meet with God only to hear him say unto us, depart from me for I never knew you!

Many have taught and preached about Jesus Christ, but have never experienced a personal relationship with him. Many have adhered to his philosophy of good works and charity and morality, thinking that this is all that is required to enter heaven. There are many who believe that going through the ritual of baptism and church membership and sacrificial giving will guarantee their entrance into heaven.

Jesus explained that more is required than all this, yet nothing that we have or can do will give us access to God's heaven.

Jesus said that they that do the will of God shall enter into heaven. What is the will of God? The will of God for all people is that they be saved - that they acknowledge the Lord Jesus Christ as God in human flesh, and acknowledge that the only way to God is through him. The will of God for each of us is to admit that we are sinful, helpless creatures, doomed to eternal hell unless God pours out his grace and mercy upon us. Jesus said that we must be born again, that is, become new creatures in Christ, having a personal, one on one, relationship with him as our Lord and Savior

God has promised that he will save us and apply the blood of Jesus Christ to our account and make us his children and grant that personal relationship with him if we will approach him by faith and ask him to save us.

Jesus warned: "Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter in to the kingdom of heaven : but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name don

Who Then Can Be  Saved?

There is only one way by which we all must come to be saved  and inherit  eternal everlasting life. and enter the kingdom of heaven .  That is by believing and receiving with our  whole heart and confesng wth  our mouth that Jesus is the divine son  of God, and we are saved by his death and resurrecton

" Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? Jeremiah 32:27) - "So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body.  “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.”Psalm 100:4

¹(A Psalm of praise.)" Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. ²Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. ³Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. ⁴Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. ⁵For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations." Psalm 100: 1-5 

Psalms 127:1-2 - (A Song of degrees for Solomon.)
