Plead My Cause

When we are “born again” into the family of God and become Christians, we begin to face enemies that we have never had to face before. Our battles are not necessarily against flesh and blood enemies, but we strive against spiritual forces in high places. When we become Christians we immediately enter a spiritual combat zone, and are confronted by an unseen army of combatants whose commander in chief is Satan.
We must constantly draw from God our Father, through our Savior Jesus Christ, the reinforcements we need to face and defeat our foes. We must constantly be on the alert and walk circumspectly, always watching lest our enemies take us unawares, and we become led astray and deceived, and fall into Satan's traps and be defeated.
Being constant in praise and prayer, and in fellowship with our Lord, we can be assured of safety and security from all the affronts of the enemy. Christ will plead our cause, and help us. He will confound our enemies, and put them to shame. They will be like chaff before the wind and be blown away. When we stay close to him we will be joyful and rejoice in our salvation.
“Plead my cause, O Lord, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me. Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help.” Psalm 35: 1, 2. “Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the Lord Chase them.” Psalm 35: 5. “And my soul shall be joyful in the Lord: it shall rejoice in his salvation.” Psalm 35: 9.

God Fixes Things

God our heavenly Father, is a kind, loving father who takes great delight in his redeemed children whom he has reconciled to himself by the precious blood of his only begotten, beloved son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
If we have been fortunate enough to have had a loving, kind, earthly father here on earth, we know that we can run to “daddy”, as it were, when we are afraid or in trouble, and he will rescue us. When our toys are broken, he will fix them. When we are afraid of the dark night, he will go with us. Even better than we have ever known on earth, our heavenly father loves us with an infinite love that cannot be equaled. He who formed us from the dust of the earth, and breathed into our nostrils his own breath of life, will never forsake us. He will be there when we slip and fall to lift us up and set us back on our feet again. He is more than willing to forgive our sins when we acknowledge and confess them to him and ask for his forgiveness.
We make many mistakes during the course of our lifetime. We commit many sins; we go down wrong roads. Sometimes our lives are all but destroyed; our hearts are broken; our bodies are near destruction; but, God our father is there to fix them, and he does fix all things for us if we will allow him to. He can and will turn our mourning into dancing and rejoicing for his glory and honor.
“Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sack cloth, and girded me with gladness, to the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent, O Lord my God , I will give thanks unto thee for ever.” Psalm 30: 11, 12 (KJV).

Wait On The Lord

“Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait I say on the Lord.” Psalm 27: 14.
One of the most difficult lessons we must learn as the children of God is to realize that God's ways are not our ways, and God's timing is not our timing. We want things, and we want them now, and even yesterday, if that were possible. God has told us in his word that whatsoever things we have need of, to ask of him and he will provide them for us as he sees fit., God knows and sees the end from the beginning, and the beginning from the end, and he knows what is best for us, and the right time for answering our petitions.
We know that God will not withhold any good thing from us if it will profit us and bring glory to himself. When we have learned this lesson to wait patiently for God to fulfill his purposes in our lives, then we have great peace and contentment in knowing that however long it takes, God will come to our rescue and meet all our needs

They That Trust In The Lord Shall Abide Forever

“They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth forever. As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even forever. For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous: lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.” Psalm 125: 1-3.
Praise be to God!~ If we are in fact the redeemed of the Lord, we are kept in the palm of his hand, as it were, and no one or nothing can pluck us out of his hand or separate us from his love. . Not to be proud and haughty, but grateful.
“The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.” Psalm 126: 3.
“So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun, when the enemy shall come in like a flood, the spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.” Isaiah 59:19.

My God, Why Hast Thou Forsaken Me?

Jesus cried out from the cross - "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" Mark15: 34; Psalm 22:1
God had temporarily forsaken his own son so that I and all who will receive him can be saved and reconciled to God our creator and father.
Psalm 22 describes the suffering and anguish which Christ suffered to accomplish our redemption. Jesus spoke through the words of David, the psalmist, these prophetic words long before Christ's appearance on earth. - "Be not far from me for trouble is near; for there is none to help. Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round. They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and roaring lion. I am poured out like water; all my bones are out of joint; my heart is like wax, it is melted in the midst of my bowels. My strength is dried up like a potsherd. and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death. For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet. I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me. They part my garments among them, and cast lots for my vesture. But be not thou far from me, o Lord my strength, haste thee to help me. Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog. Save me from the lion's mouth:for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorn. I will dedclare thy name unto my brethren: In the midst of the congregation will I praise thee." Psalm 22: 11-22.
All this and much more did Christ suffer for us, and yet how ungrateful some of us are when we ignore his offer of love and compassion for us. Christ came into the world to love everybody and to reveal all the attributes of God the Father, He came to offer himself a sacrifice to pay in full for the sins of all mankind. He did not come to condemn us, but to save us who are already condemned because of our sin nature.
How depraved we all must be when we spit in the face of such genuine, holy love of God. They who spit upon Christ, and did all the things that he describes in the gospels and the psalms, could have received him as their Savior and redeemer, and enjoyed all the goodness and blessings which he had to offer them. Instead, they blasphemed and crucified him, and chose Barabas, a man of hate and crime to go free, which typifies all of us who have been freed from sin and condemnation by Christ's sacrifice for us.
We deserved to be the recipents of all the brutality and receive everlasting punishment. We are guilty, but Christ was not guilty of any sin or wrong doing. He was perfect in every way and knew no sin. He who had no sin of his own, took our sins and became sin for us.
May we today remember these things and offer up our praises and thanksgiving for all that we have in Christ Jesus.
"Ye that fear the Lord praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him all ye the seed of Israel" Psalm 22: 23
"All the ends of the world shall shall remember and turn unto the Lord: and the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee." Psalm 22: 27.

Are You Saved?

Are You Saved ?

Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. Christ Jesus came into the world to save me, and Christ Jesus came into the world to save you. Are you saved? If you cannot say with absolute assurance that you are saved and know for sure
that you will go to heaven when you die, then it is absolutely true, according to the teaching of the Holy Scriptures, the Holy Bible, that you are still lost, and if you are still lost when you die, you will spend eternity in hell forever with all its' misery and torments, separated from all that is pure and lovely, and righteous, apart from the presence of God forever.
The apostle Paul, writing to Timothy said: “This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptancethat Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners: of whom I am chief.” 1 Timothy 1:15.KJV Bible
If the apostle Paul declared himself to be chief of sinners, where does that leave each of us? This should convince each of us that we are lost and need a Savior.We have a Savior provided for us if we will believe him; accept and believe his word when he, through the scriptures, warns us of our fate if we make the wrong choices concerning him.
“As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one: there is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.” Romans 3: 10-12.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3: 23. KJV Bible
God in his love for us has offered us a remedy for this condition by offering to us by his mercy and grace, his own righteousness through Christ.
“Therefore, by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets, even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe:for there is no difference: for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” Romans 3: 20-23 KJV Bible
Otherwise: if we refuse God's offer of salvation through Christ – then -”The wages of sin is death. But the gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6: 23.
If we choose to receive wages for our sinful works, thenwe receive eternal death; but if we would rather rely on the free gift of God, and denounce our sinful works and our own righteousness as “filthy rags”, and acknowledge that Christ paid our sin debt with his blood and sacrifice for us, then we are freely given life eternal.
“And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the son of man be lifted up: that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not is son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned; but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness ratherthan light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, that his deeds should be reproved; but he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.” John 3: 14-21 KJV Bible
“He that believeth on the son hath everlasting life, and he that believeth not the son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” John 3: 36.
“If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us .“ 1 John 1: 10.
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1: 9
How about it? Are you saved? Will you choose life or death? Will you choose light or darkness? Will you choose Christ or the Devil?
Don't be deceived, if you do not choose to accept the love of Christ and his finished work on the cross for your eternal salvation, then you have automatically chosen the Devil and will be condemend with him in hell forever according to the word of God.
