Be not slothful
How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation? We must be diligent in our prayers, meditation, study and service if we are to grow in our spiritual relationship with the LORD, and inherit and enjoy all the promises of God.
God's warning to all of us:

Walk in the Spirit

Not by any works of the law are we saved and justified before God, but by the grace of God and the finished work of Christ alone are we saved and set free.

Teach Me to Do Thy Will

Thank you dear Lord for this new day. Thank you dear Lord for the gift of life, and that more abundant, and everlasting through our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
I am here to serve you this morning - to do thy will; to think your thoughts; to write and speak your words, and use whatever gifts you have given me - "to publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wonderous works." Psalm 26:7
These should be the first thoughts that we think and come from our lips the first thing when we awake each new day.
"Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness." Psalm 143: 10
"Cause me to hear thy loving kindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee." Psalm 143:8
"Hear my prayer, O LORD, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness." Psalm 143: 1

There is None Holy as the Lord

Holy! Holy! Holy! Lord God almighty! Great is our God, and greatly to be praised!
"Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed." 1 Samuel 2:3
"The bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that stumbled are girded with strength." 1 Samuel 2:4 5 They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased: so that the barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble." 1 Samuel 2: 4-5

Two Are Beter Than One

"Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. " Ecclesiastes 4: 9-10
The Bible teaches us about the Friend who sticks closer than a brother, and that is the Lord Jesus Christ.
Woe to him that is alone, for if we are alone and helpless we are in a bad situation, but if we have accepted Christ , and have a personal relationship with him, he lives in us and has promised to never leave us and to be an ever present help in time of trouble.
"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." Psalm 23:6
