Safe In The Arms Of Jesus
Because I am a child of God;
because I have been forgiven, and purchased from the realm of the
evil one, Satan, by the precious blood of Christ, I can be sure that
“though I walk in the midst of trouble thou will revive me: thou
shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and
thy right hand shall save me, the Lord will perfect that which
concerneth me: thy mercy, O lord, endureth forever; forsake not the
works of thine hands.” Psalm 138: 7, 8. The Lord will never
forsake the works of his own hand, and those whom he has redeemed.
No one is beyond the sight and
knowledge of God. No one can hide from God. No one can keep a
secret from God. He know everything we do, every thought we think,
and every motive of our heart. We may be able to deceive our
fellowman, but not so with God. He knows who has genuine faith and
confidence in him, and who is a hypocrite. The knowledge of God is
wonderful, beyond any human comprehension, but he is willing to
impart his knowledge and wisdom to us if we will seek him and ask
him for wisdom.
“O Lord, thou hast searched me,
and known me. Thou knowest my down sitting and mine uprising. Thou
understandest my thoughts afar off. Thou compassest my path and my
lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a
word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether. Thou
hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. Such
knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto
it. Whither shall I go from thy spirit? Or whither shall I flee
from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I
make my bed in hell, behold thou art there. If I take the wings of
the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; even there
shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.” Psalm
139: 1-10
I am safe in the arms of Jesus forever.
