Guilty But Blameless
By: Robert A. Searles
My Father, the best that I know how as a human being, I love you because you have first loved me. You have poured out your love and tender mercies upon me, and while I was yet a sinner, Christ came into the world to save sinners. Christ died for my sins, he was buried and rose again according to the scriptures. Now because of your wonderful grace, I am set free from the burden of sin. I am out of Satan's prison, and I am on my way to heaven to claim my inheritance as a joint heir of Christ. No one can bring an accusation against me for -“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.” I am guilty but blameless because you have borne the guilt and the shame of my iniquity upon yourself. Thank you dear Lord for this wonderful gift of grace, and help me this day to live for you so that you might receive praise and glory and honor through my life. Thank you Jesus, my Savior, my friend, my brother. Thank you for the Holy Spirit my comforter, constant companion and never failing guide. Thank you for your Word and your promises which cannot fail.
