Daily Bible Verse
If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.

Read Psalm 31
Thought For Today - January 28 - -
Read Psalm 31
By: Robert A. Searles
We can never be ashamed or disappointed when we put our trust in the Lord because he will deliver us from all that is evil and against us. Christ has purchased us with his own blood, and we have been redeemed. We are his property. We can rest assured that he will take care and provide for his own.
We can be glad and rejoice because he knows all about our troubles and adversities, and he will not allow our enemies to be victorious over us. Today we may have troubles, but he knows, and his love and mercy is great, and his grace abounds.
“In thee O lord, do I put my trust, let me never be ashamed; deliver me in thy righteousness. Bow down thine ear to me, deliver me speedily; be thou my strong rock, for a house of defense to save me.” Psalm 31: 1,2.
“I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy; for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversity, and hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy; thou hast set my feet in a large room.” Psalm 31: 7,8.
“But I trusted in thee O Lord. I said, thou art my God. My times are in thine hands; deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.” Psalm 31: 14, 15.
“Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! Psalm 31: 19
O love the Lord all ye his saints, for the Lord preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer. Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.” Psalm 31: 23, 24.
