God's Promises When We Suffer

"Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all." Psalm 34: 19

"For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief." Prov 24: 16

"The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him." Nahum 1: 7

"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulations; but be of good cheer: I have overcome the world." John 16: 33

"The spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit that we are the children of God: and if children then heirs: heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him that we may be also gloirified together." Rom 8: 16-17
