Thought For Today - September 24
Our Song of Praise!- By: Rober A Searles
"I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all
thy marvelous works. I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing
praise to thy name, O thou most high." Psalm 9: 1,2
Our
song should be that we will praise God with our whole heart; we will
show forth all his marvelous works. We ought to be glad and rejoice in
him, and sing praise to his name.
God truly has been so good to us, but not because of anything that we
have done, but because of his love ,and grace and mercy. Many are our
trials and afflictions, but faithful to deliver is our God. "And they
that know thy name will put their trust in thee; for thou, Lord hast not
forsaken those who seek thee." Psalm 9: 10.
"The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget
God. for the needy shall not always be forgotten; the expectation of the
poor shall not perish forever." Psalm 9: 17,18.
"Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all." Psalm 34: 19.
"This is my comfort in my affliction; for thy word hath quickened me." Psalm 119: 50.
"Now,
thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and
maketh manifests the savor of his knowledge by us in every place." 2 Cor
2: 14
"Nay,
in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved
us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor
principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor
height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us
from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:
