He Lives (Jesus) - So She Lives!
By: Robert A. Searles
In memory of my beloved wife of sixty six years - Joanne
She
is not dead, but is very much alive and finally at home  with Jesus
where she so much wanted to be. No more dementia; no more knee
problems;  no more stomach problems; no more cares, worries or problems
of any kind . She is young again enjoying the bliss and splendors of
Heaven - while waiting to receive her brand new glorified, resurrected
body - and waiting for me and her children and grand children  to join
her which was her lifelong prayer that the family circle in Heaven would
 be unbroken.
"For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting
life." John 3:16.  She believed in him -  so was her confession to God,
to me, and to many others to whom she presented the gospel and tried to
persuade to believe.and to be saved.  We can therefore know that she
lives and is safe in the arms of Jesus.
"For
we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we
have a building of  God, an house  not made with hands, eternal in the
heavens.  For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon
with our house which  is from heaven.  If so be that being clothed we
shall not be found naked.  For we that are in this tabernacle do groan,
being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon,
that mortality might be swallowed up of  life.  Now he hat hath wrought
us for the selfsame thing is God, who also  hath given unto us the
earnest  of the Spirit.  Therefore we are always confident, knowing that,
whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: (for we
walk  by faith, not by sight:) We are confident, I say, and willing
rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
Wherefore we labor, that, whether present or absent,we maybe accepted of
him.  For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ : that
every one may receive the things done in his body,, according to that he
hath done , whether it be good  or bad." . 2 Corinthians 5:1-10.
