What Dose the LORD Require?

How shall we approach unto God the FATHER to worship and please him? Shall it be by our good intentions; our good deeds; our church attendance; the giving of our tithes and offerings; the expression of our God given talents; the loud music and the clashing of cymbals? NO! Some of our churches and so called worship centers, are so dead and void of the presence of the Holy Spirit, that even God himself is not there.
The only way that we can truly worship the FATHER is through our LORD and Savior, the LORD Jesus Christ, God;s only begotten son. Jesus said:"No man cometh unto the FATHER but by me." We must approach unto God in the name of Jesus, acknowledging that we are sinners and have nothing in ourselves to offer God, except his grace and forgiveness of sin, and that "God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth on him shall not perish but have everlasting life."John 3:16
What does God require of us? To accept Christ as our Lord and Savior; be justified before God through Christ, and trust in his righteousness alone for our salvation; love mercy and truth, and be led by the Holy Spirit.
"Wherewith shall I come before the Lord, and bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old? Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?" Micah 6:8
