Love God With all Our Heart

To
love the Lord, our God with all our heart, and all our mind, and all
our soul, is the first and greatest of all the commandments.
God
loved us and gave himself completely for us so that we who were born
estranged from God, living under the power and dominion of sin, might be
reconciled to him, and share in all the power and glory of his only
begotten son.
Oh!
the amazing grace of God that saved a sinful wretch like me, therefore:
- "I will love thee, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, and my
fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. I will call
upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from
mine enemies." Psalm 18: 1-3
We
ought to rise up early in the morning and begin to sing of the power of
God, and continue all the day long, singing the praises and power of
God.
"But
I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the
morning: for thou hast been my defense and refuge in the day of my
trouble. Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defense,
and the God of my mercy." Psalm 59: 16-17
