Daily Bible Verse
"And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you."
Matthew 6:5-6 (NIV)

Safety With the Lord
Safety With the Lord
By: Robert A. Searles
"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the almighty." Psalm 91: 1.
Oh! What safety and comfort there is to be found, living continually in the presence, and fellowship of God, and to be overshadowed by almighty God. Thank God ! This is possible for each of us who have been redeemed by the precious blood of Christ ,and have been born again as God's own children.
"I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust, Surely he shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome, pestilence." Psalm 91:2,3.
The devil is constantly setting traps for God's children, but God keeps us and delivers us from them all.
"Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most high, thy habitation; there shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling: For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways." Psalm 91: 9,10,11
We need to learn to exercise our right and privilege as the Children of God to dwell in the habitation of God. When we live and dwell in the presence of the Lord, and abide with him, then we are safe from all evil.
