Revive  us Again!

As God has been and still is favorable unto his  land, Israel, and his people, in spite of their backsliding, and rebellion, and brought them out of captivity and willing to forgive their sin and  iniquity when they repent and turn back to him, so it is with our great nation the United States of America.  Our country is very sick with the virus of corruption  in government, and in the hearts and mind of all of us who have forgotten the favor of almighty  God, and turned our backs on him.  We need to call on the great physician, the LORD Jesus Christ, repent and turn from our wicked ways, and continue to receive and enjoy the favor of God if we want this nation to continue to be great as God intended it to be when  it was founded to be a nation under God.

"LORD, thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease. Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation.I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly. Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.Yea, the LORD shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase. Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps." Psalm  85: 1-13

"if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7: 14
