Faith, Hope, Charity !

As Christians we ought to grow in faith, hope and charity, and as adult men and women we need to strive for mature wisdom and understanding of the word of God. We need to diligently study the Holy scriptures so that we can share the truth of the gospel with the world, however, even if we have memorized the entire bible so that we are able to quote all scripture; even if we go to church evey time the doors are open; pay our tithes: even if we sing all the hymns; even if we know all prophecy, if we do not have spiritual understanding and love the LORD OUR GOD with all our mind, soul and spirit, and have charity, and love our neighbor as Christ loves us, then we are nothing and have nothing, all is vanity.
“When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.”1 Corinthians 13:11
"And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.- Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men. 1Corinthians 14:20
" Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity." Ecclesiastes 11:10)
Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
"For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity."1Corinthians13: 8-13
