Grace To All!
“Grace be to you, and peace from
God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.” Ephesians 1: 2.
Grace, the unmerited favor of God, which God gives to those whom he
chooses. Thank God he has chosen me to be the recipient of his
grace. God has poured out his riches upon me at Christ's expense.
For he paid it all for me on Calvary's cross. “He was wounded for
my transgression, he was bruised for my iniquities, the chastisement
of my peace was upon him, and with his stripes I am healed.” Isaiah
53.
“According as he hath chosen us
in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and
without blame before him in love: having predestinated us unto the
adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the
good pleasure of his will. To the praise of the glory of his grace,
wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have
redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to
the riches of his grace.” Ephesians 1: 4-7
Friend, do you have the peace of
God? The peace of God comes as the result of “redemption through
his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his
grace; wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his
good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself; that in the
dispensation of the fullness of time he might gather together in one
all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on
earth, even in him: In whom we have obtained an inheritance, being
predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things
after the counsel of his own will: that we should be to the praise of
his glory, who first trusted in Christ.” Ephesians 1: 7-12
Friend, if you are reading these
lines, if you have heard the gospel message, you have also been
chosen of God to be a recipient of his grace, to stand blameless
before God, redeemed by his blood. Salvation is free to all who will
believe and receive.
