Is It Well With You Today?

We want for it to be well with us and with our children forever. This is our humble prayer to God our father, through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. God has already indicated in his word that this was his will for his chosen people Israel, and it holds true for us, even today. The promises of God are trustworthy and reliable. He has said that if we would: “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6: 23

“O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children forever!” Deuteronomy 5: 29

All the commandments can be summed up in one commandment: “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy mind, and with all thy soul, and thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.”

“Thou shalt keep therefore his statues, and his commandments, which I command thee this day that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, forever.” Deuteronomy 4: 40

God our Father has provided for us in his only begotten son, the Lord Jesus Christ, everything we will ever need for our spiritual and physical well being. He was offered to the world as a love gift from God, but he must be received by faith by each individual. Will you, dear reader, receive him as your savior and Lord that it might be well with thee and thy children forever?
