God's Promise When We Are Depressed

"And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee: he will be with thee, he will not fail  thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed." Deut 31: 8

"The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart, and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit." Psalm 34: 18

"The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth." Psalm 145: 18

"Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountians: for the Lord hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted. But Zion said, the Lord hath forsaken  me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.  Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb?
