Arise and Shine!

Our country and the whole earth is covered in gross darkness because we have chosen to  wrap ourselves in the blanket of sin and corruption, especially in high places of leadership and government.  

Praise God!  Christ is risen and he is alive in heaven and interceding for all who will believe and trust in him.  As true born again Christians who have called upon Christ for our salvation, it is our duty to ^"Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side." Isaiah 60:1-4

John 8:12 - "Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
John 1:5 - "And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not".
1 John 1:7 - "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin"..
Matthew 5:16 - ""Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
