How Shall We Escape The Corruption in the World?
By: Robert a Searles
We who are the born again children of God are in the world but not of the world. This world with all it's sin and rebellion against almighty God is inviting the righteous wrath of God to be poured out upon it.
The world system in which we who know and love God are a part of, is full of corruption and spiritual darkness and is ripe for the judgment of God as was Sodom and Gomorrah, while a loving creator and heavenly father is offering his love, mercy, and forgiveness fo all who will, by faith receive it..
The only way of escape for any of us is through the knowledge and righteousness of God, and our Saviour Jesus Christ.
"Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;" 2 Peter 1: 1-5
What can wash away all the sin and corruption from the face of the earth? Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
