The Beginning of Sorrows
By: Robert A. Searles
Today God's chosen people, the nation of Israel is at war with the evil forces of barbarism . Hostages have been captured, some have been brutally murdered , infant babies have been beheaded, families separated and rendered homeless, and destruction and chaos in many of the cities - "Not one stone will be left on another that shall not be thrown down". Jesus said. Yet in all of this turmoil , death and destruction, we see protestors around the globe, advocating Israel's cease fire.
These are those who have little, or no regard for the word of God, and are easily being deceived by demon spirits to allow these barbarian terrorist to continue their evil work to destroy Israel.
Those of us who love God, and stand with his covenant with Abraham, Issac ,and Jacob, need to be in prayer and pray for victory and peace of Israel, and always beware of deceivers who may come in sheep's clothing to deceive many.
That which is happening in the world today may be just the beginning of sorrows which will follow the rapture of the church at the time of "the great tribulation". Christians need to be alert, have our wicks trimmed, and oil in our lamps, and looking for the Lord's return for his churh.
"And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows." Math 24: 1-8
